Nestled on pine covered acreage with a peek of the valley and lake - down through the trees. Three bedrooms plus a suite which sleeps up to 4 and is fully equipped with kitchen.

Winter sports areas include, Silver, Schweitzer and Spokane mountains all 40 miles away.

Disabled and child friendly, your stay may be a restful one, or you may participate in fine art, crafts, or cooking lessons during your stay. Hiking, biking, and water sports are available nearby. Take a car trip to waterfalls, cavern, dams, Silverwood theme park (11 miles) and more.

The innkeepers have traveled and lived all over the world and furnished this beautiful home with pieces they've collected. You'll enjoy the distinctive character of each room.

Our Location
Take Interstate 90, east from Spokane to exit 7, hwy 41 north to Rathdrum (at hwy 53 intersection, follow hwy
signs for 41 N). Turn left onto Gunning Road (past milepost 10) then continue 6/10 mile to 20551.

Your host is a retired engineer, duplicate bridge player & down hill skier. Your hostess is an award winning artist and certified caterer/gourmet cook.

At night the stars seem close enough to touch. Sometimes you can see the northern lights.

You can hear sounds of nature and occasionally see a wild animal.
